Connecting the public to their public lands
Turning outdoor ideas into permit-ready, fundable and buildable projects throughout the Southern Appalachians
Services
Drawing on more than a decade of experience in public-land management, recreation planning, trail stewardship, environmental review, contracts, partnerships and disaster recovery, we help clients develop thoughtful projects and move them toward implementation.

Public Lands Permitting
Every state & federal park or forest has a different, complicated permitting process. We provide permit-readiness reviews and application support for outdoor events, organized groups, schools, universities, camps, therapeutic recreation programs, outfitters and other organizations using public lands.
Services may include identifying permit requirements, developing operating & safety plans, organizing maps and supporting materials, reviewing insurance requirements and preparing application packages.
Grant & Agreement Management
Application-to-closeout support for counties, municipalities, nonprofits, conservation organizations, landowners, and public-land partners.Blue Ridge Stewardship Solutions helps clients identify appropriate funding, develop competitive projects, coordinate partners, and prepare grant and agreement materials. Services may include funding research, readiness assessments, project scoping, application narratives, preliminary budgets, schedules, statements of work, maps, supporting documentation, and application review. The goal is not simply to submit an application. It is to develop practical projects and help clients carry them successfully through implementation.
Project Implementation
Once funding is secured, we can help establish reporting systems, track deliverables and match, organize reimbursement documentation, maintain procurement records, coordinate project partners, prepare progress reports, support agreement modifications, and assemble closeout materials. With the planning and administrative framework in place, we offer coordination support for trails, outdoor recreation facilities, access projects, and stewardship initiatives.Services may include project scoping, statements of work, preliminary implementation planning, procurement support, contractor coordination, cost considerations, site assessments, and partner engagement.
